- Meet with clients and their families on a regular bi-weekly basis (caseload of 8-9 clients)
- Runs/co-facilitates therapeutic groups 1 day per week
- Complies with both internal and external requirements for documentation and associated timelines.
- Participate in weekly meeting with clinical team for case conceptualization
- Assists in preparation of treatment plans, court reports, and other clinical documentation.
- Completes quarterly family assessments.
- Assists with victim/sibling’s reunification, when warranted
- Assess the status of family involvement and discuss strategies for improvement/relevant attendance with supervisors
- Aids in the assessment of suitability of family members for discharge consideration
- Maintains regular contact with juvenile probation officers and/or caseworkers for case coordination.
- Clinically supervises residents while following program policies and assuring compliance with BARJ principles and best practices within the field.
- Remains on call after hours for a week at a time, several times a year.
- Therapeutic training: Master’s Degree required.
- A License in MFT or supervision toward this end is preferred.
- Specific training and/or experience with sexual offending population and/or adolescents is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required
- One of several clinical licenses preferred
- MFT License Preferred
