Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental terminology, insurance verification, and office procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations and verify coverage
- Update patient records with insurance information
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Work closely with medical billing and coding staff to resolve any insurance issues
- Handle patient inquiries regarding insurance coverage

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of CDT coding and dental coding
- Proficiency in dental terminology
- Experience in a medical office or dental office setting
- Familiarity with managed care plans
- Strong understanding of insurance verification processes
- Adherence to HIPAA regulations
