$23 - $25 hourly

**Position Summary:**** **The Parent Coach will report to the Safe Way Forward Program Director and provide support and outreach services to child welfare involved caregivers and families who have experienced intimate partner violence.****

**Essential Duties:**** **

* Conduct extensive outreach to families, including home visits.

* Develop relationships with, and assist, parents whose children are child welfare involved.

* Organize and co-lead innovative parenting skills and support groups.

* Escort families to appointments and meetings (court, public assistance, food stamps, etc.)

* Work as a team member with social workers and housing/benefits specialists.

* Participate in frequent case conferences and family team meetings.

* Participate in unit meetings and in-service staff training.

* In-person collaboration is an essential function of the job.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications:**** **

* High school diploma or GED.

* Personal experience with the foster care system as a parent.

* Bilingual Spanish/English fluency preferred.
