Children on the Green is Hiring a Teacher (Older Infant) Near Morristown, NJ

Join a great teaching team at a well-known school in the center of Morristown! Children on the Green seeks an experienced lead Waddler teacher for our fun class of children 12 months – 18 monts.

Our lead toddler teacher will:

· Build relationships with children: Establish a trusting relationship with each child, based on knowledge of childhood development and a genuine empathy for young children. Treat all children with dignity and respect, allowing for individual differences.

· Implement Creative Curriculum and follow the ITERs: Using lesson plans and Teaching Strategies GOLD to document children’s progress. Follow developmentally appropriate practices.

· Classroom Management: Engage children through intentional teaching throughout the day. Implement effective transitions. Supervise assistant teachers and delegate responsibilities.

· Parent Relationships: Maintain positive, professional relationships with all families. Communicate regularly with parents about their children's needs. Hold parent/teacher conferences twice yearly and as needed.

· Professional Development: Be committed to your own professional development as an early childhood educator. Free virtual trainings as required and as chosen by you. Tuition reimbursement if you are in school!

This is a perfect position for a qualified, professional teacher who cares about young children and is motivated to grow in the early childhood education field. Our teachers are the most important part of our program and we respect, compensate and treat them that way.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
