If you choose a career at CHC, you will review local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance with training mandates. Provide educational leadership to residents and care providers to enhance resident care within established clinical guidelines. Assist caregivers with educational needs, problem resolution, and health management across the continuum of care. Collaborate with medical providers, resident care staff, and management in planning, implementing, and delivering educational curricula. Initiate clinical skills development programs within the parameters of established clinical and preceptorship models; monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards and parameters. Conduct new employee and annual in-service education on general topics, including hand hygiene, best practices, and infection control. Conduct and monitor CPR certifications to ensure they are kept current. Evaluate skills and techniques of Health Service personnel through personal observation, quizzes, and direct questioning. Complete root cause analysis reports for such issues as equipment breakage, gaps in charting, etc.; report findings to the Safety and Quality Assurance Committees. Educates personnel using new equipment, supplies, and instruments; coordinates in-service training and workshops for appropriate staff. Ensure proper care in operating and maintaining equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Provides direct nursing services to an assigned group of residents; assists in performing all related nursing duties. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
