As a Business Assistant, you’ll be surrounded by camaraderie and partnership, the face of the practice - where patients come first, and continuous learning is encouraged! Hard-working and motivated, friendly and outgoing, the successful candidate will bring a passion for helping our team provide the best patient care to the community we serve here in Childersburg.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team
  • Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies
  • Utilize Eaglesoft for patient scheduling and data entry
  • Help schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office (one doctor and two hygienists)
  • Review treatment plans and payment options with patients when necessary
  • Partner with doctor and team to deliver the best patient care possible!

Work Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • HIPPA guidelines in regard to PHI
  • Insurance Verification
  • Experience using Eaglesoft is a plus but not a requirement; easy to use dental software
  • Experience with Google, Google Docs and internet navigation as a whole

Interview process: phone interview upon acceptance of qualifying resume with references and a 2 hour minimum working interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
