Child Focus Inc. is Hiring an Early Head Start Assistant Teacher Near Cincinnati, OH
Location: Child Focus Learning Center
Hours: Shifts range from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Degree Required: High School Diploma & Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential
Starting Salary : $17.00/hour with Infant /Toddler CDA
Job Responsibilities:Child Focus is seeking dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as Assistant Teachers in an Infant Toddler Classroom implementing a research based curriculum. Duties include set up and maintenance of classroom, engaging with infants and toddlers, diaper changing and fostering learning and growth.Child Focus is a 5 STAR rated Step Up to Quality Program and provides high quality early childhood services.
Preferred candidates will:
- Relate positively with young children and families
- Be passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
- Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
- Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Have knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred, but not required as training provided
