SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Work with Domestic Violence Offenders, oversee, manage and implement the program's service delivery, monitor the offender's progress, and provide guidance and support to program staff and participants. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills and a deep understanding of the domestic violence system and the complexities of offender rehabilitation. This position may include evening and weekend work relevant to the position.

  • Provides oversight and coordination of the programs. Provides documentation and required reports in a timely, professional, and accurate manner
  • Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as probation officers, counselors, and community organizations, to ensure a holistic approach to offender rehabilitation.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors program goals, objectives, and outcomes including monitoring the quality and quantity of services and compliance with contract, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify problem areas and develops recommendations with other management staff. Provide administrative support to reduce systemic barriers to program success
  • Provides community leadership through networking with community leaders, funders, and advocacy groups. Attends community meetings. Conducts public relations activities to enhance the image of CFS in the community
  • Develop and implement evaluation processes to assess the overall effectiveness of the program, including outcome measurement and data collection.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges, ensuring accurate and timely submission to management and funding agencies.
  • Assists in the development of new programs and program expansion by assisting in the obtaining funding and enhancing programs
  • Under supervision implements, monitors budgets, revenue, and expenses for the program. Addresses problem areas
  • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, providing ongoing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provides consistent supervision and support to assigned staff members in accordance to contractual obligations and agency expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, addressing any performance issues and recognizing exemplary work
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges, ensuring accurate and timely submission to management and funding agencies and collaborate with case managers to develop individualized case plans, setting realistic goals and objectives for each participant.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to the program's mission.
  • Coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to provide necessary services and referrals to address offenders' needs, such as employment assistance, substance abuse treatment, and mental health services.
  • Assures that a safe environment is maintained
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Masters' Degree in a Social Service-related field from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with residential youth population strongly preferred.
  • Over three years, up to and including six years supervisory experience.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of area of program concentration.

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
