Child Family Services is Hiring a Family Centered Treatment Practitioner Near Providence, RI

This position is eligible for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds which includes a one-time $750 sign-on bonus payable after the completion of 90 days of employment as well as a monthly stipend of up to $694.50 which is based upon the hours worked in the previous month for as long as the funds are guaranteed by the State.

What You'll be Doing
The Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Practitioner will complete the Wheels of Change and field training to become a certified FCT Practitioner. The FCT Practitioner will provide in-home treatment with the intent to keep families together, based on the Family Centered Treatment model.

Your Main Priorities
* Upon completion of full certification, you will work with clients and their family members and caregivers to identify problems and goals, develop a treatment plan, and assist to achieve desired outcomes.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships with clients, family members and caregivers, and identify referring or collateral professionals and agencies.
* Collaborates with collateral contacts as needed.
* Provides two 2-hour treatment sessions per week with the appropriate individuals.
* Flexible in providing services according to the client's needs.
* Maintains client records accurately, completes documentation requirements promptly.
* Provides 24/7 on-call support for all assigned clients.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required; master's degree preferred.
* Minimum 3 years in similar role.
* Experience with trauma-informed treatment a plus.
* Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
* Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
* Must be able to authorize Child & Family to complete Motor Vehicle Record check.
* The ideal candidate will be required to meet all pre-employment requirements such as background checks and medical clearances.

Travel Requirements
Site location: Providence, RI
Local travel is required.

FLSA: Exempt
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
