Child Family Services is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor (LADC-I) Near River, MA

The Clinical Supervisor (LADC-1) provides oversight, management, and supervision to assigned staff which may include Recovery Coaches, Recovery Support Navigators, Peer Specialists, and master’s level Clinicians. The LADC-I Supervisor serves as a member of the clinical leadership team and completes additional administrative activities such as recruitment, staff scheduling, performance reviews, and participating in the CQI process.

Qualifications:

  • A completed Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Psychology or other licensure eligible degree program is required
  • This individual must be independently licensed with a LADC-I in the state of Massachusetts
  • Must be a Certified Recovery Coach Supervisor
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working in substance use treatment
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency’s needs.

  • Provides supervision and leadership to assigned staff focused on the substance use serving population.
  • Participates in the operation of the program within context of the budget including production expectations for all staff
  • Maintains a client caseload with a production expectation based on ratio of supervisees, other job responsibilities
  • Participates in the selection of assigned staff and maintenance of staffing schedules
  • Participates in planning and development of clinic services and establishment of policies and procedures within a managed care framework that focuses on substance use disorder (SUD) integration of services.
  • Approves timecard and authorizes time off requests in payroll system
  • Provides training and oversees, monitors Relias utilization for their staff
  • Completes annual performance evaluations for all assigned staff and manages personnel issues
  • Works with and collaborates with other agency systems to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the clinic SUD services.
  • Coordinates program services, meetings, and marketing as needed to expand SUD service collaboration.
  • Represents the agency’s interests in the community with a focus on SUD services.
  • Participates within the multi-disciplinary team as needed
  • Member of the CQI committee; participates in CQI activities including program development, program evaluation and outcomes studies as well as BSAS requirements for record keeping.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule that is conducive to providing services in an open access model that will include in-person and telehealth services
  • Maintain record-keeping as required by CFS, funding sources, and accreditation authorities
  • Keep EHR calendar up to date to support centralized scheduling
  • Provides direct clinical and SUD services to individuals, families and groups using evidence-based therapy approaches while maintaining production and record keeping requirements
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing, to develop person-centered treatment plans through collaborative documentation
  • Remain knowledgeable about the substance use disorder (SUD) service system and link the client to treatment and recovery resources including but not limited to Acute Treatment Services (ATS), sober housing, appropriate benefits, and Narcan education
  • Serve as a recovery guide and role model in the management of recovery and assist the client to identify and overcome barriers to recovery
  • Complete continued education to maintain clinical professional licensure and ensure that licensure remains active

  • Demonstrates skills for communication and interaction across cultures, including the ability to recognize and manage personal behaviors, moods, and impulses to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming climate within the agency
