Beanstalk Academy is eagerly hiring teachers, who have true love and passion for young children. This includes Infant Toddler teachers, Preschool teachers, and Special Education teachers for Early Intervention, Head Start, and UPK programs.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
- Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
- Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
- Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
- Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
- Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate
Requirements (Must have at least one of the following):
- Minimum of 18 Credits in Early Childhood Education
- CDA Child Development Associate Certificate
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Master’s degree in early childhood or Special Education
- NYS Teacher Certificate Birth – Grade 2 or Equivalent
