Position Description
The Eager-to-Learn (ETL) Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing a complete course calendar, coordinating all Eager-to-Learn learning communities, and managing all Eager-to-Learn instructor contracts in collaboration with the Director of Workforce Development. This position reports to the Director of Workforce Development and works as part of the Professional Development Team.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a complete course calendar.
· Manage and track all ETL-approved courses, authorized trainer lists, expiration dates, etc.
· Use historical enrollment data to inform future course scheduling and strategic timing of course offerings.
· Stay informed on the Early Childhood Education (ECE) field to consider deadlines, new/changed training requirements, training content scheduling overlap, and holiday breaks.
2. Create and maintain all courses and online classrooms in the learning management system.
· Clone classrooms, upload course materials, set up video chat links, etc.
· Update resource documents, course materials, and learning community packets.
3. Assist with special data reporting projects.
· Compile and report on ETL training data for the Department of Human Services (DHS) biannual reports, advisory committee updates, and annual site visits.
4. Prepare, disseminate, and track all instructor contracts.
· Provide regular communication to instructors.
· Track instructor’s trainer approval expiration, course authorization lists, and availability to coordinate/create the course calendar.
5. Coordinate and implement new initiatives to enhance the overall program user experience.
· Create and disseminate program resources to assist users.
· Lead and facilitate ETL Virtual Tour events.
6. Support the organization’s mission, vision, strategic plan and anti-racism goals by participating in activities and professional development opportunities.
· Participate in staff meetings, workgroups, or taskforces to assist with achieving the organization’s goals.
· Assist CCA with implementing the organization's strategic plans by embedding the goals into everyday work.
· Participate in professional development activities to strengthen your understanding and skills around diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism.
Qualifications
· Minimum of an AS in Early Childhood Education or related degree or knowledge of Early Childhood professional development system
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Service-oriented with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in word processing, database management and e-mail/internet using Microsoft Office software, Google software
· Independent worker/comfortable working remotely
· Knowledge of, or experience with, cultural diversity issues and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
· Demonstrated intercultural competency skills and experience working cross-culturally, with a commitment to incorporating the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion into your work
Preferred Qualifications
· Working knowledge of DevelopToolMN
· Ability to navigate a variety of data base systems
Working Conditions
· Full-time, non-exempt, temporary long-term position
· Flexible scheduling, family-friendly work culture
· Remote with occasional in office days for staff training
· May require sitting or stationary position for extended periods of time
· Occasional travel within metro area
· This position reports to the Director of Workforce Development
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range
· Hiring range of $43, 617.00- to $51,251.00 annually plus an additional $2,000 a year for life style expenses
