    The Position:

    We are seeking a full-time Outpatient/School-Based Coordinator for our Palmdale site. This position is primarily responsible for the support, oversight and supervision of unlicensed therapists to ensure quality services are being provided to the clients. The OP/SB Program Coordinator will also provide outpatient services to families with children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties. This position ensures compliance with Agency policies, HIPAA, funding sources and other ethical and legal mandates. This position adheres to Agency standards of conduct and professionalism and promotes the Agency’s Workplace Vision and Workplace Culture.

    What You’ll Do

    • Provides direct administrative and clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians in the OP/SB Program. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring and assessing performance and providing feedback on a regular basis and as needed.
    • Monitors assigned staff members’ productivity and compliance with documentation standards. Addresses performance issues with staff members who struggle to meet agency standards and, as necessary, develops action plans for those staff members.
    • Reviews and provides feedback to assigned supervisees regarding clinical documentation to ensure that all program and case documentation is effective, timely, complete, and meets all relevant DMH/CFGC documentation standards and guidelines.
    • Works with the Outpatient Manager to assist with school-based case assignments for the OP Hybrid staff, ensuring that they maintain a full school-based case load.
    • Monitors the school-based referrals for the OP Hybrid staff, in collaboration with the School Based Program Manager, School Based Case Manager and school personnel.
    • Collaborates with both the OP and SB Program Managers to ensure effective and consistent communication between staff, management and school personnel.
    • Facilitates monthly group meeting with the OP Hybrid staff, to address any issues, concerns related to their school-based cases.
    • Along with the School Services Manager, develops and maintains positive relationships with assigned schools, including conducting initial, mid-year and end of year reviews at each school in collaboration with the School Services Case Manager.
    • Hours: Full-time (40 hours), with some evenings required
    • This position is fully onsite for the first four months. Hybrid work options are available after successful completion of four months of employment
    • Starting Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate on experience)

    Qualifications

    • Experience directly supervising clinical staff
    • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills and knowledge of evidence-based, child and family clinical interventions relevant to families served in community mental health settings.
    • Must apply feedback to improve performance and monitor own work to ensure quality.
    • Verbal fluency in Spanish is preferred
    • Must continuously have a clean driving record in order to be insurable under the Center's automobile insurance policy
    • Ph.D., Psy.D., MSW, or MA/MS with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be licensed with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
    • Must be two years post-licensure
