The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks for all facilities of Child and Family Charities.
Requirements:
· Valid Driver’s license, Auto Insurance and reliable transportation
· Your own Liability Insurance
· Must obtain a negative TB test and undergo background checks
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provides general building and grounds maintenance and repair work related to the safety and security of the workplace environment.
· Coordinate maintenance and repair tasks and projects with vendors, as appropriate.
· Routinely assesses the agency for physical structure and grounds needs.
· Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
· Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment
· Change filters for HVAC as required
· Change light bulbs, interior and exterior as needed
· Maintain exterior property, including periodic side walk snow removal, weeding, and trimming
· Assist with other agency needs such as purchasing, pick-up and deliveries, storage, and specialist events.
· Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
· Performs other duties as assigned
Hours: Flexible schedule according to the needs of the agency, with 10-20 hours per week.
