Chief Fabrication is seeking a  2nd shift Weld Leadpersonto join the Chief team. This position will ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, and equipment as well as maintains compliance to all quality control procedures and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in training and direction of employees in the weld department and assures that all weld personnel are informed of and adhere to all company rules, regulations, methods, rules, procedures and policies.
• Seeks to control and improve material handling methods and procedures to assure smooth production flow.
• Completes required production records and reports and keeps accurate record of labor on daily timecard.
• Ensures that safety is the #1 goal.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Requires knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality procedures usually gained in 3-5 years’ experience.
• Requires the ability to use a computer for daily functions.

Shift:

• 2nd Shift – 3:30pm – 12:00am
