Job Description: Cashier at Fried Chicken & Boba Tea Shop

Position Overview:
As a cashier at our Fried Chicken & Boba Tea Shop, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth transactions. You will be the face of our establishment, providing friendly and efficient service to all patrons while handling payments and maintaining a tidy cashier station.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they enter the shop.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Provide recommendations and answer any questions customers may have about our menu items and specials.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately, and issue receipts.
• Handle refunds and exchanges promptly and professionally, following company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, including stocking supplies such as napkins, straws, and receipt paper.
• Collaborate with kitchen and barista staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of cash and adhering to health codes.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash register reconciliation and cleaning tasks.
• Address customer concerns or complaints courteously and escalate to management when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Willingness to learn about our menu offerings and provide exceptional service to customers.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 50 per week
