About the Role
We’re looking for a night shift Quality Inspector – a person who will be a vital member of our quality team and who will ensure products conform to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Understand external customer requirements and ensure they are met - participate in the inspection process
- Understand internal customer requirements
- Build inspection plans (High QA Inspection Manager)
- Run CMMs
- Conduct bench inspections
- Work proactively with various departments to identify, clarify, and correct quality issues and concerns
- Prepare final QA documentation
- Support Pre-job Readiness

- Help us standardize, improve, and accelerate process
- Develop an allergy to sloppiness both in process and in physical space
- Be aware of your expected output

Required Experience / Qualifications
- 2 years working in the quality field, preferably as a quality engineer within precision machining
- Strong understanding of GD&T and precision automated measurement methods is required
- 2 years working with CMMs
- Experience working in an ISO 9000, ISO9001, AS9100, IS16949, ISO 13485 or related Quality system environment
- Experience with First Articles, FMEA and /or PPAPs
- Experience with SPC software is required.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, belt certification is a plus
- Internal auditing / supplier auditor experience a plus
