CHICANOS POR LA CAUSA is Hiring a Planning and Development Coordinator Near Pueblo, CO

POSITION SUMMARY

The Planning and Development Coordinator is responsible for managing ECD’s primary Office of Head Start grants and continuation applications and researching. This involves identifying and preparing grant applications and proposals to various funding sources to support existing and planned program activities on behalf of CPLC’s ECD programs statewide. Promotes school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success as it relates to this position. Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times and in all environments. Maintain all health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment. Facilitate health practices to keep children safe in the school bus, outdoor and indoor environments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education/Background

1. Minimum education qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate degree in English, Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years of experience in fundraising, grant development and proposal writing
  • Strong capacity building, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Effective leadership, management/supervision and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer, software (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Adobe) and web-based systems ability.

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of early childhood development and/or HSPPS and Head Start Act.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.

Other requirements

Effective January 3, 2022, all CPLC Employees and all Service Providers, are required to be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19.
