We are looking for a Bi-lingual Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant eager to work in our busy physician office and clinics. As our Licensed Practical Nurse/Medical Assistant, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring patient care and the quality of life for every patient.
Responsibilities:
Gathering patient information in preparation for appointments
Monitoring patient’s condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
Phone assessment and communication of plan between patient and provider
Reviewing lab, imaging, and relevant patient history
Collaborating with the physician to devise individualized care plans for patients
Collaborate and communicate with MA and provider
Documentation in EHR
Implementing plan and sending orders for labs, medications and referrals
Patient intake and assessment during clinic visits
Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, and etc.)
Making patient appointments and faxing appropriate lab or imaging orders
Patient follow-up calls and return patient calls
We are looking for someone with a team spirit and a positive attitude. Who also exhibits patience, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal communication skills. You also must be organized and comfortable with multiple EMR systems. This is an office position that will also require some travel. All applicants must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and the current state nursing license will be required.
