Job Description
This individual will develop and manage the activities of the welding program to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed quality standards, governing codes and regulations. The essential welding related tasks include review of weld related requirements, technical review, definition of weld personnel requirements, evaluation of weld equipment, consumables, and materials, definition of WPS and PQR, weld inspection definition, training, oversight before/during/after, considerations of heat treatment, support of nonconforming material process, calibration, traceability, identification and quality records.
