**Programming Coordinator / Customer Support**

The Chicago Industrial Arts & Design Center (CIADC) is hiring!

CIADC is a non-profit organization that provides education and working access to the Chicagoland public in 4 Departments: Metal Casting, Metalworking & Forging, CNC Fabrication, and Woodworking. We offer programming for Youth, grades 6-12, and Adults of all abilities and interests!

We are looking for the right person to join our dynamic team as Programming Coordinator / Customer Support. This is an in-person position at our Rogers Park facility.

The role of this position includes:

Serving as programming support to Executive Director, Director of Youth Program Development, Department Staff, Students, and Members

Acting as customer support for the Chicago Industrial Arts & Design Center by fulfilling front desk / reception area duties

The ideal candidate:

Can commit to a part-time weekly schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays 8:30am-5pm and Saturdays 2pm-7pm, and is flexible with additional hours scheduled in advance

Connects with our Mission of providing creative industrial arts access to youth and adults

Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

Is very organized, detail-oriented, and effective with project management

Is proficient in Microsoft Office, including well-versed with Excel

Has back-end Squarespace/Squarespace Commerce website experience and Square retail experience

Is customer-service focused

Is comfortable working independently
