Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and implement competent treatment and perform regular reassessments for the purpose of treatment modification to maximize patients’ potential for functional independence.
- Effectively educate patients and family and provide information on outside resources to meet the patient’s specific needs.
- Work within the framework of an interdisciplinary team approach for both inpatients and outpatients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a current Occupational Therapy license with the American Occupational Therapy Association or a Arkansas Board of Occupational Therapy license.
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
Preferred Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge in occupational therapy principles of assessment, treatment delivery and general management of acute, inpatient and outpatient therapy.
