Responsibilities

Not many patients get excited about blood work. That’s a fact. Knowing this, we make sure we have best Phlebotomists on our team to provide the highest level of patient care. We hire Phlebotomists who not only have the proper training and education to get the job done, but also have a special skill of putting our patients at ease when blood work is ordered. If you have the perfect mix of clinical skill and a passion for helping others, it’s time to join our awesome team!

Expectations:

  • Obtain blood specimens by capillary or venipuncture puncture 
  • Maintain integrity of specimen in relation to the test being performed
  • Disposes of contaminated lab supplies and specimens 
  • Receives laboratory specimens, orders tests, processes specimens using the centrifuge and distributes specimens to appropriate testing areas communicating special instructions
  • Performs clerical duties
Qualifications

We will help provide training to make you successful!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred: Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT, ASCP)
