The Certified Nursing Assistant contributes to positive patient experiences by performing nursing care tasks under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical nurse, facilitating communication, and provide general clerical and administrative assistance to the unit. This position supports the mission, vision, and core values of CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson.
ResponsibilitiesRequired Education and Experience | High school education or G.E.D. and completion of a certified nursing assistant training program. |
Required Licensure and Certifications | CNA: ND AHA Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS-CPR) – within 30 Days |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training | Candidate must be proficient with computers and computer applications in the healthcare setting. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. |
