ResponsibilitiesWorks under the supervision of the Director in collaboration with other care providers, including receiving day-to-day direction by the team leader. The Dialysis Technician assists the registered nurse in the care of dialysis patients. Dialysis Technicians have clinical and technician skills to provide both direct patient care, as well as dialysis maintenance and repair.
Education: high school graduate or ged education required
Licensure: Must have or will successfully complete approved PCT (Patient Care Technician) program and achieve PCT certification within 18 months of hire.
Qualification: Must be listed on the Unlicensed Assistive Person/Technician Registry operated by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. If not on a registry, then must obtain placement on one prior to orientation and training by CHI St. Alexius Health per the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
