Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregon's scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for the delivery of patient care in the clinic setting.
Essential Duties:
- Performs preliminary patient assessments.
- Prepares patient for health care provider.
- Administers medication and/or vaccinations.
- May collect blood samples and perform EKGs.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay Range: Certified $19.68 - $27.06; Non-Certified $15.08 - $20.33 (certification required after hire)
QualificationsLicense/Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required if hired as a CMA. Non-certified medical assistants will be required to become certified after hire.
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire.
Experience:
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
