ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients undergoing, non-chemo & chemo infusions and injections, insertion of mid-lines and peripherally inserted central catheters. Applies knowledge of current treatment modalities to patient care. Administers infusions/injections, testing and line insertions according to institutional policy, standards, and guidelines. Answers phones, schedules patients, maintains patient experience, and upholds core values and mission. Provides patients and families with emotional support, information and guidance during treatment. Educate patients and families in areas of health and illness that maintain optimum levels of physical and emotional functioning.
Graduate of an RN nursing program.Current RN license in state of practiceCurrent BLS CertificationChemo Certification within 6 months from ONS
