Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary team in food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Transport Hot Cart to and from the Assisted Living building for Lunch and Dinner
- Support Holidays and Events by helping with food preparation and buffet setup

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
