Chestnut Health Systems is Hiring a GAIN Project Coordinator (LI/GCC) Near Normal, IL

Overview:

Chestnut Health Systems, Lighthouse Institute is seeking a GAIN (Global Appraisal of Individual Needs) Project Coordinator to join our GAIN Coordination Center (GCC). As a GAIN Project Coordinator, youll work with treatment providers, court systems, and/or law enforcement agencies across the country to implement, train, support, and provide technical assistance on the use of the GAIN assessment at their location. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping agencies integrate the GAIN assessment into their practices, ultimately improving treatment outcomes and reporting processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Help agencies interested in using the GAIN Family of Instruments to find an assessment that meets their needs.
  • Work with grant funders, CEOs, treatment supervisors, judges, and clinicians to identify how the GAIN can assist with their treatment and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate internally with other teams to develop a tailored assessment and training approach when needed.
  • Maintain a working relationship with treatment providers and act as the main point of contact for questions.
  • Assist Managers and Supervisors with reporting requirements and maintain detailed files to track production relevant to assigned agencies.
  • Assist with the development and testing of new materials and may be required to train and supervise staff or consultants.
  • Some travel is required, estimated at 4-6 weeks per year maximum.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have a bachelors degree in social science or relevant areas, with a masters degree preferred. Supervisor experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to travel to client sites and possess experience and interest in providing training and organizing major multifaceted projects. Strong communication skills and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds are essential. The ability to write documentation and operational policies and procedures is required, along with the flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional extra hours to meet project deadlines. A valid drivers license, private automobile insurance, and insurability are necessary for this role.
