HORTICULTURALIST / SALES ASSOCIATE

We would love for you to come join our team and grow with our expanding company. We are looking for a horticulturalist with a great work ethic and the ability to provide a high level of customer service. We are a full service landscape company & garden center located in Chesterfield, MO.

Full Time (Seasonal)

• Horticulture knowledge and experience required
• Assisting customers & answering their questions
• Sales skills (selling material, bulk material hardgoods and plant care enhancements)
• Assisting at the registers
• Restocking merchandise and remerchandising assigned section throughout the season
• Applying price tags & notating shortages and outages
• Light cleaning duties
• Daily watering and plant care (pruning, weeding, etc.)
• Work with Managers to maintain overall plant care, nursery and display appearance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

REQUIREMENTS:

· Team Player

- Landscape design knowledge preferred but not required

· Weekday and Saturday hours required

· Willing to work in all weather conditions (outside & in greenhouses)

· QuickBooks experience preferred but not required

· Able to lift 30 pounds or more and multi-task in a fast paced environment

- Able to stand, walk, and be on their feet for multiple hours at a time with minimal breaks

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Horticulture: 1 year (Required)
• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
