Description
Position Summary:
This inventory control specialist is responsible for all functions relating to the receiving, storing and inventory control of all raw materials, packaging as well as finished product used in the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Must always work in a safe and conscientious manner while following all GMP and Quality policies.
2. Ensuring accuracy of our inventory utilizing the Ross ERP Software
A. Finished goods.
B. Cold storage products
C. Raw Materials
D. Packaging materials
3. Ensure that the inventories are accurately assigned to the correct categories and locations.
4. Responsible for insuring accurate inventory.
5. Schedules and revises material replenishment plans to ensure purchased materials are available to meet internal demand.
6. Coordinating the inbound and outbound cold storage inventory
7. Coordinating the semi-annual finished goods inventories
8. Auditing product rotation to ensure that a “first in, first out” inventory flow is met.
9. Interacting and working with Production, Shipping, Customer Service, and Purchasing Management
10. Extensive working knowledge of Asher’s Inventory Scanning and Warehouse Information System (Ross)
11. Expertise in inventory status.
12. Assist the 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates by pulling orders and packing as needed.
13. Performs other job-related duties in area of responsibility as assigned.
14. Must bring a positive attitude (can do and what can I do to help) to their job.

Requirements
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Associates will perform job duties in a manufacturing environment and must be comfortable with daily exposure to noise, dust, and variation in temperature ranging from 60-100 degrees.

B. Cold storage
C. Raw Materials
D. Packaging materials
2. Responsible to Warehouse Manager
A. Responsible to Warehouse policies and procedures
B. Responsible for timeliness and quality of work.
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Forklift certified or forklift experience capable of being certified.
Education:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Needs to have acquired 1-3 years related experience and/ or training. Equivalent combination or education and experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to perform basic computer skills in Microsoft: Excel, Access, and Word are preferred.
Ability to perform basic math calculations - Add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages.
