Additional requirements for Public Safety:

Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma

· A minimum of 3 years of verifiable security experience, prior law enforcement, or military experience is required. 60 college credits are desirable.

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

· As a condition of employment, you must complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

· Must pass training in handcuffing and OC use (Act 235 certification preferred, but not required)

· Have a driver's license with a clean driving record.

Public Safety Employee Duties:

Chesley Brown International is currently seeking applicants for Public Safety Officers to join our team at one of Pittsburgh’s premier entertainment and retail centers. Ideal candidates will have previous law enforcement or military experience. As this is an entertainment center, evenings and weekends are required. Specific shifts will be discussed during the interview process.

As a Public Safety Officer, you will:

· Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the property outside in all types of weather to ensure the site is clear of any security or safety concerns.

· Respond to calls for assistance from retail and entertainment establishments.

· Respond to 911 calls and other emergencies on the property.

· Detain those involved in criminal activity when needed.

· Assist police, fire and EMS during emergencies on the property.

· Complete automated daily activity reports and complete automated incident reports as required.

· Always maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Be articulate and able to use good independent judgment

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
