We are searching for a Nurse Manager to oversee our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Our Rehab Unit is a 24-bed specialty unit providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients who are primarily in need of physical restoration following a disease or disabling condition, from strokes to motor vehicle accidents. You will be part of a diverse, interdisciplinary team including physicians, rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, speech and language pathologists, dieticians, social workers, and other specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and develops department personnel.
• Acts as an expert role model in the performance of patient care.
• Works directly with patients and staff to refine nursing intervention techniques and clinical approaches.
• Initiates and coordinates the development, revisions, and implementation of standards.
• Participates in the development and implementation of the unit’s operational/capital budgets.
• Assists with hiring and orienting department personnel.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN License.
• 3 years of nursing experience.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift: days
