Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) on our team-oriented and patient-centered STEPDOWN UNIT!

As one of the areas only community hospitals, Chesapeake Regional Healthcare services all seven cities of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina and provides:

• 24/7 Rapid Response/Stroke Team coverage provides support and additional patient care when necessary
• Accredited Chest Pain Center
• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• 24/7 neurosurgery coverage
• Experienced Neurointerventional Surgical Team

This is a Full Time position, working 3-12hour shifts a week. The hours are 7:00PM-730AM with every other weekend obligation and minimal on-call.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
• Current Virginia or compact state RN license required
• Verbal and written communication skills and computer skill required
•  BLS & ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• One (1) year of recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred
