Summary

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) – Tele/Neuro is responsible for the initial and ongoing education and competency assessment and evaluation process within their service lines. The Tele/Neuro Nurse Educator assists nursing services and provides programs and training to enhance the development of technical, psychomotor, and critical thinking domains. The Tele/Neuro Nurse Educator will maintain clinical competency in order to best assess and assist the needs of the units assigned.

Education and Experience

Minimum Required Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Education

Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Education required within 2 years

Experience: Minimum 3 years acute care nursing, preferably on a tele and/or neuro unit; Nurse Educator experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia or compact state; Must have current BLS and ACLS. CMSRN preferred.
