As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in various stages of illness. Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a Stellar Senior Living Community, is a 176-bed skilled nursing facility located in Littleton, CO. We have been operating for over 50 years and are looking for an individual to continue the tradition of the best in care for our residents.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary for this position is $35 to $42 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient respiratory needs, including oxygen levels, breathing difficulties, and lung function
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions
- Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy
- Monitor and adjust medical equipment, such as ventilators and oxygen tanks
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and proper use of equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in respiratory care and implement best practices into patient treatment plans
- Comply with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Colorado
- CPR and Basic Life Support certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in respiratory care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations with composure
- Proficient in using medical equipment and computer systems
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed
