Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for:

• med fills,
• ASR training,
• diabetic nail care,
• coordinating the skilled nurse visits for assessments/admissions/6-month follow-up,
• supervisory aide visits (SAV’s) of the member’s in the Advantage Program and State Plan Personal Care Program per Agency/LTCA/State guidelines.
• Reviewing the UCAT,
• completing the admission assessment and other necessary paperwork,
• set up home files,
• inform member: of the grievance procedure, service delivery principles, member rights & responsibilities, orient member/family/PCA on the tasks, duties, and responsibilities of all parties in the care of member.
• Assist with the care plan development for Advantage members, coordinate with agency staffing coordinator in staffing issues.
• Perform skilled nurse visits as indicated in plan of care.

Qualifications

The RN must have current nursing license & current Oklahoma driver’s license.

The RN must also have manual dexterity skills including repetitive use of the hands, must be able to tolerate sitting position for at least (4) hours, tolerate repetition bending and reaching up to (2) hours a day, be able to lift 25 pounds from floor to waist height.
