Summary

The Property Manager shall be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Logistics/Property aspects of this contract and shall act as the central point of contact with the Government.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following: Logistics manager shall be responsible for coordination, monitoring, and providing supply support to the assigned MDS H60 series and GFP/E. Specifically, the Logistics manager shall analyze all bench stock, prescribed load list, and shop stock; provide recommended revision of stockage level in support of the assigned MDS H60 series and GFP/E. Property Manager shall be responsible for all assigned Government property accountability and facilities assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Manages projects with direct supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Five (5) years of related experience, of which at least three (3) years shall be commensurate with position assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Familiarity of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Capacity to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • The facility to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • The aptitude to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
  • Requires personal computer (PC) knowledge leading to proficiency in various software and/or spreadsheet operations. Must be familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel and Access).
  • The ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.

Work will be performed primarily in a climate-controlled office environment.
