Cherokee Cleaning is looking for a commercial cleaner to service its new accounts. This is a 1099 position that includes $20-$21/hr, paid out monthly. We believe in paying our cleaners well, as they are the lifeline of our business. This position will report directly to the cleaning manager, and requires 3-5 years of cleaning experience. As a 1099 contractor, all applicants must supply their own cleaning supplies.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good time management skills to ensure efficient completion of cleaning duties
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
