South Coffeyville Cherokee Casino is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Associate. What You'll Do

• You'll use cool tools to paint walls, lines in the parking lot, and even crosswalks!
• Lend a hand with basic carpentry, fixing things with tools, and making sure the lights and water stay on.
• Help check on equipment, keep things running smoothly, and even tackle small fixes to prevent bigger problems.
• Keep an eye on our mechanical and electrical equipment and let us know if anything needs attention.
• Help keep our grounds beautiful by mowing lawns and pulling weeds (no green thumb required!).
• When we're updating the casino, you'll be in the mix, lending a hand and learning new things.
• You'll help ensure our building stays healthy with building environmental monitoring and other important things.
• Escort vendors around the building and answer any questions they might have as needed.

You're a Perfect Fit If You

• Enjoy using and caring for tools, including corded and cordless power tools.
• Have knowledge in operation of equipment like lifts and tractors.
• Prioritize safety through proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and using personal protective equipment.
• Are driven to grow professionally and obtain the required gaming authority license. We'll support you every step of the way!
• Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance for occasional tasks that involve hitting the road.

Requirements

• Got your diploma or GED? That's a great start! We're also looking for 2 years of experience in similar maintenance roles – or a mix of education and experience that shows you're up for the challenge.
• You'll be lifting and carrying things up to 50 lbs.
• Wearing protective gear and following safety procedures is essential here.
• Requires handling of average weight objects up to 50 lbs.
• Some tasks might involve occasional travel.
