Job SummaryCheney Brothers is looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our transportation team.
Job Responsibilities/Requirements
- Safely and efficiently transport trailers between distribution centers and yards.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a favorable driving record and doubles endorsement.
- Must have a Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain one.
- Must have verifiable employment or explanation for unemployment for the last 10 years.
- Prefer minimum 1 year driving experience.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and must provide electronic consent.
- Must be highly dependable, trustworthy and honest.
- Requires strong problem-solving skills.
- Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
- Use state of the art equipment, tools, and technology.
- Highly competitive pay.
- Ongoing training and career growth opportunities.
- Drivers are home daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
