Chenega Services & Federal Solutions is Hiring a Network Administrator Near Las Vegas, NV

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Network Administrator to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Center for Radiation Field Operations (NCRFO).

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, and document Network infrastructure.
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and hosted devices within local networks.
  • Provide day to day management of Cisco routers, switches, WiFi access points and audio-visual switches.
  • Manage wireless Internet access including mobile routers and LTE over Air Technologies.
  • Manage firewall administration with requests to firewall rule changes.
  • Troubleshoot and remedy local network problems and outages.
  • Conduct threat monitoring with tools such as Cisco ISE/DNA, Infoblox, and InfraView.
  • Provision and de-provision VoIP phones.
  • Monitor the Network using SolarWinds, Security Information Event Management (SIEM) software such as Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch and local router and switch event logs for any potential security breaches.
  • Support remote access.
  • Maintain network system logs and configuration edit logs.
  • Maintain and supports mobile data/voice networks in support of emergency responders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Preferred Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security , Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Certification (Level 4 or higher), or similar Network Security Certification.
