Responsibilities- Design, implement, maintain, and document Network infrastructure.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and hosted devices within local networks.
- Provide day to day management of Cisco routers, switches, WiFi access points and audio-visual switches.
- Manage wireless Internet access including mobile routers and LTE over Air Technologies.
- Manage firewall administration with requests to firewall rule changes.
- Troubleshoot and remedy local network problems and outages.
- Conduct threat monitoring with tools such as Cisco ISE/DNA, Infoblox, and InfraView.
- Provision and de-provision VoIP phones.
- Monitor the Network using SolarWinds, Security Information Event Management (SIEM) software such as Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch and local router and switch event logs for any potential security breaches.
- Support remote access.
- Maintain network system logs and configuration edit logs.
- Maintain and supports mobile data/voice networks in support of emergency responders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Preferred Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security , Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Certification (Level 4 or higher), or similar Network Security Certification.
