Job description
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician in the Oil & Gas Industry. Shop is located in Pleasanton, TX for applicants in South Texas as well Laredo, TX.

Makes best value and safety decisions to continue to operate, repair or replace, and performs technical repairs and/or replacement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Able to perform proper Preventive Maintenance including oil changes, lube, and filters. Inspection includes truck appearance, interior and exterior, cab related, and safety. Basic electrical repair and replace starters/alternators/batteries. Must have experience with Power Take Off (PTO) pumps. Inspect tire treads inflation, rotation, and wear. Proficient at brake diagnostic-repair & replace/adjustments. Inspect & replace drive line components and basic engine components. Remove and replace transmission, clutch and engines (R&R). Valve and injector adjustments. Remove and replace steering & chassis components. Must understand truck air systems. Perform Emergency Road Calls out in field as needed. Follow good housekeeping standards. Must be able to communicate with internal customers (i.e. other shop associates, drivers, other maintenance shops, etc.) on such things as stances, wait times, reasons for repair decisions and status updates.
Basic diesel mechanic tools required
Job Related & Physical Requirements:
Must have valid Driver's License, high school diploma or equivalent, Eligible to work in the United States, minimum 3 yrs truck maintenance experience, good computer skills, good customer service skills, must be able to pass physical and drug screen
Must be self-motivated. Able to work independently on location.
Must be able to bend/stoop, work long hours if needed.
