Position: Chemical Compounder & Blender

Location: Madison, Ohio

Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Pay Rate: $17 - $20 per hour to start, depending on skills and experience

Job Description:

Chemical compounders are responsible for compounding, blending, and adjusting a variety of products, including curing compounds, paints, resin-based sealers, as well as cementitious products. Other functions of this position are:

- Materials handling, storage, and transport.

- Performing cycle counts on inventory.

- Willing to work overtime as needed.

- Batching of mechanical emulsions, including use of a large-scale homogenizer and other high-shear dispersion methods.

- May also rotate into packaging runs if there is a need.

Skill/Education Requirement:

- High school or equivalent degree

- Experience in the safe, proper, and efficient operation of lift trucks.

- 3 – 5 years of experience in chemical blending and mixing operations.

- Must be physically able to do heavy lifting of drums, bags, and pails.
