Chemex Global is Hiring a Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment Near The Woodlands, Tx

Responsibilities included but not limited to performing calculations, developing data sheets of equipment, preparing RFQ, technical bid assessment, generate technical clarification by interacting with vendors and suppliers to get the most optimum design according to project specifications, codes and industry standards. Analyze technical issues and come up with cost effective design solutions to solve them.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

Collect and review all project design documents.Work on multiple projects/tasks as needed to meet schedule.Team up with peer engineers to deliver deliverables with Quality.Communicate with Project Managers, other stakeholders to keep track of tasks, deliverableand schedule.Prepare Data Sheet, Bid Tabs, RFQ/RFP Packages and perform calculations.Perform and learn all Chemex Global Engineering tools to efficiently support team on thedesign of modular refinery package.Assist in the development of P&IDs, Line List and perform hydraulic calculations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with over 5 years of experience working with an Engineering, Procurement and Construction company.

Skill sets

ASME Section VIII Code Calculations knowledge

PV Elite and Compress software working experience

Ability to read P&IDs and MOC

Communication skills

Ability to work under pressure to deliver on schedule with quality

Eager to learn all available design tools and calculators to be able to help all engineering

areas as needed

Team player, professional and respectful with all coworkers

Problem solving skills
