Responsibilities include being able to superviseElectrical /Instrument & Controls Engineering activities for multipleprojects. This includes checking of electrical, instrument & controlsproject deliverables ensuring scope and standard/code compliant. Assign worksto team members at all stages of a project from Study, FEED, EPC detailed engineeringto mechanical completion / construction phase up to the commissioning stage.Interact with clients, vendors, fabrication shop, project management and otherengineering disciplines to be able to get the tasks completed and resolve technicalissues/conflicts.
Plan andassign teams to develop project electrical/instrument & controlsdeliverables. Review the deliverables providing technical input for safe andworkable design.
Liaisingwith clients, vendors, project management and discipline engineers to ensure the electrical/instrument & controls teamsare aligned on projects scope & specifications.
Participatein the P&ID reviews, model reviews with clients and internal disciplines torepresent Electrical/instrument & controls Engineering. Support inperformance test/inspection from electrical/instrument & controls ordelegate staff to cover.
ResolvePHA/HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA/SIL action items. Check data sheets and RFQ/RFP and inputin the bid tab evaluation/meetings. Attend all electrical and instrument &controls meetings.
Leadteams of senior engineers/project programmers/electricians mentoring andcoaching to keep motivation/productivity level to optimum with quality. Plan weeklyassignments to keep balance of work among staff for effective control ofmanhour/productivity.
Assistswith recruitment, training, and onboarding of junior engineers/technicians.
Ensuringa safe, positive work environment with excellent problem-solving &communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with atleast 10 years of experience working with an Engineering, Procurement andConstruction company or similar.
Ability to lead engineers and assign tasks.Ability to work under pressure to deliver on schedule with quality.
Team player, professional, respectful with allcoworkers with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Having a Professional Engineering License is preferred.
Able to set goals for staff, diagnosingdevelopment levels and apply matching leadership styles.
