Seafood Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Seafood Manager to join our team. As a Seafood Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the seafood department, ensuring the highest quality of seafood products and exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the seafood department, including ordering, receiving, pricing, and merchandising
- Ensure proper handling and storage of seafood products to maintain freshness and quality
- Train and supervise seafood department staff, providing guidance and support
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts
- Create attractive displays to showcase seafood products and drive sales
- Assist customers with their seafood selections, providing product knowledge and recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seafood department
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong inventory control skills
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Experience in employee orientation and training
- Proven ability to sell and market seafood products effectively
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing and profit margins
- Experience in sales management or shift management (preferred)
- Previous experience in retail management (preferred)
