About the Opportunity:
Chelsea Piers is seeking to hire a full-time Housekeeping Associate to join our Sky Rink Housekeeping Team. This person will work Monday and Thursday - Sunday, 6 PM - 2:30 AM. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff by maintaining a working knowledge of the facility. This role reports to the Senior Maintenance and Operations Manager and works closely with Maintenance and Ice Maintenance Departments.

As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be expected to:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks within the facility including cleaning hallways, bleachers, and locker rooms, and replenishing amenities in the locker rooms and restrooms
• Be responsible for trash removal in the facility
• Clean event spaces both before and after parties
• Assist with setup and breakdown of all rooms and spaces as required
• Understand and operate floor scrubbing machines
• Have a working knowledge of the facility and report safety issues to supervisor immediately
• Interact with the customers inside the facility and try to resolve any issues that may arise
• Perform other duties as assigned. This may include maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, light electrical, painting, etc.

About You:

You are punctual, responsible, professional, and courteous. You will have First Aid, CPR, and AED Certificates. You will also be able to work collaboratively with the Maintenance and Ice Maintenance Departments.
