IT Specialist - XA

Job Overview:

This position is an integral part of the IT staff and is pivotal to the success of the implementation and ongoing support of Infor XA ERP Rel 10 or later. The position primary focus is Infor XA and integrated software such as MES/inventory movement/label software. A willingness to adapt to other IT responsibilities as necessary including but not limited to Windows, document management software, VMWare, VOIP and other technologies as they may be implemented by the company.

Requirements:

· Infor XA in a Net-Link/Power-Link environments required

· 5 years of experience using ERP in an integrated manufacturing environment required

· SME on proper use of XA

· Ability to collect requirements and convert into new processes

· Identify how to apply technology to improve or simplify processes

· Educate end users on both using XA and generally accepted business practices

· Design, develop, and implement processes using standard XA

· Basic knowledge of SQL queries, System Link Took Kit, CL programming, RPG programming, IBM Power 9 admin and user exits a plus

· Comfortable working in both a factory and office environment setting

· Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Good written and communication skills

· Team player

Job Description:

· Assist IT Manager in implementation, administration, and support of Infor XA

· Work in concert with others on IT Staff to ensure all systems remain available to users

· Support the User Community related to a specific XA application Net-Link/Power-Link in general

· Develop and lead ongoing hands-on training classes to support personalization of Netlink/Powerlink

· General knowledge of Net-Link/Power-Link (Views, Subsets, Sorts, etc.)

· Workbench & Workspace Development and use

· Cards & Card Files

· Other responsibilities that may arise at the IT manager’s discretion
