ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for management and execution of critical technical components of experiential and retail programs and live and virtual event productions including venue selection, contractor selection, SOW’s, budget negotiations, programming, event operations, content production and ongoing management. Evaluate project details, cost/budget and make appropriate recommendations or alternative solutions
Provide technical strategic guidance, researching and idea generation for including but not limited to live and virtual events, broadcast events, gaming events and esports
Provide technical support for production, program and events and new technology
Manage live and virtual production and event operations, including planning, programming, fabrication, installation, operations, measurement and post event wrap up, etc.
Manage technical suppliers, including Audio Visual, Exhibit and scenic fabrication and lighting.
Manage projects to achieve the designated metrics/defined KPI’s
Prepare and comply with project budgets, negotiation with vendors, and ensure payments and reconciliations are timely
ABOUT YOU
10 years in experiential, event management and productions experience managing mid- to large-scale live events, virtual events, tradeshows, retail environments, corporate events or product launches as a technical director or supervisor.
Advanced skills and knowledge of all technical production disciplines including; audio, video (projection/LED, media servers), lighting, rigging, power, internet/networking, scenic/exhibit fabrication, media server, screen switching.
Extensive experience in maintaining positive relationships with technical production vendors.
High level of flexibility to handle multiple priorities and maintain a calm demeanor while handling several programs and events at one time
Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers
Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; ability to handle pressure under stress; exceptional multi-tasker; can comfortably move risk and uncertainty into solutions

Deliver unwavering technical support for production, programs, events, and emerging technologies, ensuring seamless integration within the gaming and broadcast environments.
Take charge of live and virtual production and event operations from inception to completion, encompassing meticulous planning, programming, fabrication, installation, operations, measurement, and comprehensive post-event wrap-up procedures.
Effectively manage technical suppliers specializing in Audio Visual, Exhibit and scenic fabrication, and lighting, ensuring seamless coordination and execution within the gaming and broadcast context.
Lead projects with a laser focus on achieving designated metrics and defined KPIs, continuously driving innovation and excellence within the gaming and broadcast spheres.
Rigorously prepare and adhere to project budgets, adeptly negotiating with vendors and ensuring timely payments and reconciliations, all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to excellence in gaming and broadcast operations.
The salary range for this role in NY is $90000 - $110000 . Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
